On June 6-7, 223 of the many musicians who
have influenced the development of music in Corvallis over the past 50
years in Corvallis, Oregon gathered and performed over two days (Friday
evening, and Saturday afternoon as well as evening. Before many of the
performances, written interviews were given, and afterward, live
interviews were recorded with most. Below are some from many of
those interviews with others to be posted in coming days. The photos
posted are simply representative of the groups and will be rotated
regularly to ensure all members of a group are included over time. The
interviews are sometimes quite lengthy and are posted in "small" real
audio format. The remaining photos will be posted as they are
forthcoming. The interviews take a moment to download. You may want to
right-click and choose "Open in New Window" so you can continue
web-surfing while the file downloads. The synchronization of sound and
image is tentative, meant only to get the interviews up as quick as
possible. The first set of performance recordings - to be edited over
the coming months, is available here.
The performers on this first disc include the Tito Amaya, Alejandro
Contreras, and Otto Gygax, Ron Manbeck, and the Nettles. Disc 2 is
here, and features the Nettles, Lucy Watts
